Shitface

Alexander and Benjamin go out together, have a few drinks, talk, laugh. At one point Benjamin disappears to the bathroom, and when he returns he spots Alexander in conversation with a man. He’s debating joining or watching when Alexander raises his voice.

“Don’t talk to me ever again!”

The man laughs.

“Oh come on. All bossy? Doesn’t suit you at all little bitch.”

Benjamin steps a little closer.

“I mean it, Christian. Get lost,” Alexander says, and Benjamin can tell he’s just barely controlling his emotions. Benjamin puts his body between them, facing Christian and protecting Alexander. His voice is as cold as ice.

“I believe the gentleman told you to piss off.”

“Well look at that. Ain’t that cute? He found someone willing to put up with him. How long have you been fucking him? Can’t be that long. Great ass but he’s a whiny little bitch, gets annoying real quick. You on the other hand...” Christian’s eyes wander down Benjamin’s body. “If you ever feel like playing with a real man I bet this little slut still has my number.”

Benjamin pushes Alexander’s ex against the wall, his forearm across Christian’s throat, putting his full weight into the move. An inch away from Christian’s face he hisses:

“If you even so much as breathe in his direction again I swear to God it won’t be pretty. Am I making myself clear?”

Christian’s eyes bulge. He’s struggling to get air.

“I can’t hear you.”

“Yes. I understand.”

Benjamin lets him go with an extra shove. Christian backs off, hands raised.

“I get it, I get it. He’s all yours. Jesus.”

Benjamin closes his eyes and takes a deep breath.

“Thank you,” Alexander says quietly.

Benjamin wraps him in his arms and rests his chin on Alexander’s shoulder.

“It’s OK. He’s gone. I think I got my point across.”
